The picnic is on Sunday after church. The first item on the agenda...EAT! The menu: Homemade Fried Chicken, Stew, amazing potatoes (kinda like chunky mashed potatoes), green beans, dressing (like you have never had in your life!!) fresh bread from the country bakery, and your choice from a VARIETY of cakes for desert. The stew was made by Adam's Grandpa Matula for YEARS...and now his sons, Adam's uncles, make the stew each year. It is YUM-MY!
In the KC hall, where we eat, there is also BINGO being played, a cake walk going on, a country store with all kinds of goodies, and new this year...a plant walk. Outside on the pavillion there is a Polka band playing and soon the auction will begin. This picnic serves as the main fundraiser for the Sacred Heart Catholic School...which Adam, and all but 2 of his Henke cousins, attended from Kindergarten through their senior year!! Both of Adam's parents and many of his aunts and uncles also graduated from Sacred Heart.
Okay...enough talk...here are the pictures!!
These 2 pictures are Braden learning to play some dominoes with Adam, Adam's dad (not wearing his cowboy hat), Markey, and Ray (holding Braden). This was Friday night right as we got into town.

I'm absolutely obsessed with the pig plop. I think it's hillarious and I want to participate:) Maybe someday!
Tell Braden his favorite Aunt misses him and can't wait to coo over him very soon.
Love you all.
